TVXQ, The Rising Star that has blown away minds of K-pop fans over the recent years finally made their comeback to Malaysia after 6 years! TVXQ, which consists now only of U-know (Yunho) and Max (Changmin) gave much more than a explosive setlist of performances which were accompanied with mindblowing visuals and SFX. Cheers roared throughout the stadium as fans (also known as Cassiopeia) had patiently waited for 6 years for this very moment.

It also marked TVXQ!’s third appearance in Malaysia since the band was formed in 2003 and is their first time performing in Malaysia since briefly stepping out of the limelight 6 years ago. TVXQ!’s fan following in Malaysia has continued to grow in spite of their hiatus from the music scene, a fact made clear during the concert with many new fans joining thousands of long-time Cassiopeia as they sang and danced along to their favourite TVXQ! hits.

JPM Music collaborated with Korean companies SM Entertainment and Dream Maker Entertainment whilst also teaming up with joint presenter Magnum Live to make the concert in Malaysia possible. 121123 VIXX and Nu'est at Shout Awards Press Conference

Shout! Awards 2012 is exclusively organised by local network broadcasting channel, 8TV. The purpose of the event is to give recognition to the people who have impacted the Malaysian music, TV, film and radio industry each year with their creativity and breakthroughs. Along with the announced line-up artists, it was recently confirmed both of the rookie groups, VIXX and NU’EST, will make their first appearance in Malaysia for the show as guest performers.

K-pop's recent rookie groups VIXX and Nu'est came to Malaysia as highlights to 8TV Shout Award's international acts. They also held a Press Conference in the morning at Doubletree Hilton KL before the award show. Here's a short summary on what went on during VIXX and Nu'est's first vist to Malaysia. luharu.com would also like to take this opportunity to thank 8TV for media access to the press conference as well as the event respectively.

Both groups started with a slight introduction before answering to a QNA session with the media. Check out photos and a short intro on the groups below!

5 Member boy group Nu'est (known from being pledis ent's new male group and also somewhat known as the male counterpart of Hello Venus) graced the floor with their pretty boy looks and cool hairstyles.
They debuted with Face and came back with Action, known for their pop x dubstep hits, these boys really know how to make an impression when performing. Member Minhyun also made a cameo in Orange Caramel's Shanghai Romance MV! do you remember?

VIXX is a 6 member boy band under Jellyfish Ent. and all members were previously on Mnet's reality program, Mydol so this group is pretty new in the industry but had already gained popularity worldwide for their really catchy songs and quirky personalities.

Members of the media got themselves a little personal during the QNA session as there was a few precious moments held with the idols themselves. Overall we did get all the answers that were needed.

Malaysia was definitely a new experience for Nu'est and VIXX as this was a rare chance for a new group like them to go on an overseas promotion. They had also previously attended showcases and concerts in the US as well.
