Ip Man : The Legend is Born, The Review

Its quite late for me to do a review on this movie, but heck, I just gotta get it outta my head. (Its just a clearing of memory lol). So I watched this movie last saturday before the b2st press conference with beanie, josh and dixxon, yeah we were too free.
Up for the review...

This is the final movie of the ip man trilogy, being a prequel, its really not bad at all. As I think it is, the story was before the japanese started taking over foshan and the other parts of china. The story starts showing a younger version of ip man, when he was a child, growing up and mastering wing chun in foshan. It also shows the wing chun culture in foshan, making it the most traditional wing chun yet. This movie is a story about simple betrayal, and drama upon the current international society. Actually, To Yu-Hang really suits the role of ip man too cause he also looks like Donnie Yen, haha. I think the fights of this movie are quite well choreographed, better than ip man 2, so you wing chun fans out there better check it out LOL. Other than what I've mentioned, this movie shows both sides of the "nemesis" of foshan, the guai lous' and the japanese. The Japanese also have a more realistic cultural feel compared to Ip Man 1. The real Ip chun also stars in this movie so, be sure to catch a glimpse of him in action! Being a 86 year old man, you just can't underestimate him.
Just wanted to write a short review so...

Good fight choreography, nice realistic scene,
Rating: 7/10
This is the final wing chun movie so far, so don't miss it!

@personal life: back to life again, bored outta my mind! Still has b2st fever, SOLAR, and follow my twitter! DONT FORGET!! School bugging me again, as usual.

  1. "The japanese have a more realistic cultural feel compared to Ip Man 1" Are you joking? They were like cartoon characters. Another reviewer said it reminded him of the nazis from Raiders of the lost Ark...Which to me is a more accurate review. The japanese characters in the film were over the top and costumes were laughable. The Japanese "boss" looked like a retarded Green Hornet! And the betrayal at the end of the movie was stupid. This movie does not even compare to the first 2 Ip Man movies.
